Guidelines for Authors
Guidelines for Authors
Ethics in Research and Publication
Authors conducting research involving human subjects or human data must comply with internationally recognized ethical standards, including the Declaration of Helsinki (1975, revised 2013). Approval from an independent ethics committee is required. Written informed consent must be obtained and retained.
For non-interventional studies, participants must be clearly informed about anonymity, objectives, and data usage. Any ethical waivers must be documented appropriately.
Publication in the Journal of Entrepreneurial Researchers (JER)
Authors grant full permission for publication in JER. Consent must be obtained for identifiable individuals featured in studies or illustrations.
Online Research
Participants must receive clear, pre-survey information, with an option to print and the right to withdraw. Confidentiality must be guaranteed, and surveys must be marked as “confidential.” Authors must submit this information with the manuscript.
Conflict of Interests
Any relationship that could affect impartiality must be disclosed. Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to declare potential conflicts.
Sex and Gender in Research
JER supports adherence to the Sex and Gender Equity in Research (SAGER) guidelines. Use of the terms “sex” and “gender” should be appropriate and accurate.
Borders and Territories
JER maintains a strictly neutral stance regarding jurisdictional claims or territorial disputes.
Ethics for Authors
Authors must comply with the guidelines of COPE, WMA, ICMJE, and ARRIVE. Submissions must demonstrate originality, ethical conduct, transparency, accuracy, and full disclosure. For research involving vulnerable populations, see Section 14 of the Code of Ethics.
