Journal of Entrepreneurial Researchers Classified as A4 in the CAPES Qualis System (Law Area)

2026-01-14

The Journal of Entrepreneurial Researchers (JER) is pleased to announce that it has been classified as A4 in the CAPES Qualis system, within the Law area, for the 2021–2024 evaluation cycle.

This classification places the journal within the Qualis excellence strata (A1–A4) and represents an important milestone in the consolidation of JER as an international, peer-reviewed academic journal at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, law, and public policy.

Under the new Qualis framework, which increasingly values the quality, relevance, and impact of scholarly contributions in postgraduate evaluation, this recognition reinforces the journal’s credibility within the Brazilian scientific system and strengthens its attractiveness to authors working across disciplinary boundaries.

A Collective Achievement

This recognition reflects a shared and sustained effort by the journal’s academic community. The Editorial Board wishes to express its sincere gratitude to:

  • Authors, for their trust and for contributing rigorous, original, and impactful research;
  • Editors and Associate Editors, for their intellectual leadership and commitment to high editorial standards;
  • Reviewers, whose careful, independent, and constructive assessments are central to the journal’s quality and integrity.

The A4 classification acknowledges not only editorial consistency and peer-review practices, but above all the scientific quality of the articles published in JER.

Towards Broader Recognition in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Building on this achievement, the Journal of Entrepreneurial Researchers is actively working to extend its recognition within the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation, while continuing its internationalisation strategy.

In this context, the journal is under evaluation for inclusion in major international indexing databases, including Scopus and Web of Science, and is committed to further strengthening its editorial processes, international authorship, and citation impact.

JER remains dedicated to serving as an open, rigorous, and globally oriented platform for research that advances understanding of entrepreneurial and innovative processes and their institutional, legal, and societal dimensions.

The Editorial Board warmly thanks the entire community for its ongoing support and looks forward to welcoming future contributions as the journal continues its path towards broader international recognition and excellence.
