Author Guidelines

For more information on the types of manuscripts accepted in the journal, rules for formatting manuscripts (text, figures, and tables), cartographic rules and bibliographic rules, authors should consult the Guidelines for Authors. A Template is available to make this a straightforward process.

The following documents should be filled out and attached alongside the manuscript during submission:

During submission or in the Identification Form, authors can choose among three distinct peer review systems:

  • Single-blind peer review: anonymous reviewer/disclosed author.
  • Double-blind peer review: anonymous reviewer/anonymous author.
  • Open peer review: disclosed reviewer/disclosed author.

In the absence of a specified preference, the default protocol is a double-blind peer review process.
